    Washing a down sleeping bag

    I recently hand washed my down sleeping bag, and now all the down has shifted to one side in clumps. How do I even out the fill like it was?

    ..err, I thought you may be a pica sufferer and you were after advice on what drink you require, to follow eating a sleeping bag...sorry can't help with the cleaning aspect...

    on the warm cycle put it in a cloths drier (or if you have one with the heater element disabled use that) for 10-15 minutes after youve line dried it.

    Soak the sleepingbag again, use the dryer on low temp and put 3-4 tennisballs with the sleepingbag, it tends to be good. Have done that with several sleepingbags with down in it. When it's done it has to be COMPLETLY dry, or else it will lump - it can take while...

    After washing, do you do a low spin dry or hand squeeze and put it on the line for a while prior to the tumble dryer ... how do you get rid of the XS water?

    I use the spin dryer in the twin tub then lay it out flat over the cloths line before putting it into the drier for "fluffing"
