    Sauce pan set

I bought this sauce pan set in the late 70s. The two pots are aluminium, the lid which doubles as frying pan ,stainless steel. The clean pot fits inside the blackened one.All three items are stamped with the broad arrow. Does anyone know if they're ex defence force?

I was under the impression the broad arrow just meant it was government property, so not always defence force.

    Yes Military Pots

These pots came with the section cooker, M59? petrol stove. They were quite practical but a bit optomistic to feed 10 men.

They were only used by vehicle mounted troops and common with the Cavalry.

    Hope this helps.
