Thread: taking a chest freezer to Moreton

Hi Guys
off to Moreton in a couple of weeks and i have bought a genie for the trip, i am going with the wife and kids mon -wed and then the boys come over.

so i need food for the first few days and then more for when my mates come over.

we like to eat well and we are not good at fishing.

i hate the sound of a genie, so was planning on using it to charge the waeco while we are away from camp.

How would a 240volt chest freezer go with it on for say 6 -10 hours a day, there are a few for $50 on ebay, i could have it all frozen down a few days before we go with meat, bait and ice.

any ideas
