    Country Comfort water heater/shower

    Hi all,
I bought about two years ago a Country Comfort water heater. And never one to procrastinate I wired and plumbed it up today!!!!!

But. It's not heating the water. The gas isn't being ignited. I've used the little pump that came with the unit and installed the two D cell batteries. Water flows though the unit and I have a reasonable flow though the shower rose.
The LED temp light does not come on when you switch the unit on. Although I'm not sure if it's meant to until hot water flows.
I bought it from eBay and the instructions are use less.
    Any help greatly appreciated

We have a similar unit(Redrock)the batteries are only there to ignite the pilot, I'd say it would be either a blocked jet, it can happen if sitting around for a while, or a dodgy connection, I'd check that the ignition is actually giving a spark, this will tell you if it's the battery housing, could be a loose wire or dodgy connection in the battery holder.
