Hi all,
I bought an MDC Camper back in January last year, i thought i'd be happy with the hand pump style tap on the sink with the trailers tailgate kitchen. I was wrong, it irritates me and its hard to wash hands etc when you need to pump the tap with one hand.
Im looking at upgrading to a 12v electric pump and tap, just wondering what people have used/are using, what they think and the cost.
Thanks, Matt

I bought a 17l/min 12v diaphragm pump off ebay. The one I have linked is just an example they can be bought cheaper if you search. It has a pressure switch so all you do is turn on the tap. No way it does 17l/min using my tap and pipes but it is about 7 or 8. It is a little noisy but it does self prime. My wife loves it compared to the pump. I've installed an isolation switch so it doesn't cycle through the night or when the camper is packed up.

I to got one off fleabay for my camper . The one i got was about 8 ltrs a min came with a tap with switch . From memory it was about $60.00 inc postage![]()
I used to run an eBay cheapy and it worked (still does) fine, but boy was it noisey! You would wake up the whole camp filling the kettle in the morning, so I lashed out on a sureflo unit for about $130 I think, which has a better flow rate and while not silent, is much quieter.
