Thread: Great power source

I bought one of these the other day. Great bit of kit. I didn't want to splurge on a dual battery set-up as I want to get a D 4 in the near future and I have just bought a camper trailer. I discounted the Arc 730 battery box as too expensive.

They are $679 in their catalogue but I paid $550 with discount. This is what they want for a Arc 730 battery box without a battery. I have been running a Waeco 50l fridge for 3 and 1/2 days with no hiccup. I started charging it today because I head off on a road trip tomorrow. The only downside so far.
1. it takes 24 hours to charge with standard charger.
2. You can't have anything connected when connected to mains charging.

I have a Anderson plug in the car and will charge it when driving. I will also make up a lead to jump start from it in an emergency. ( I do have a D3)
