I have a large heavy cast iron camp oven which is over eighty years old. It was used by my grandfather in his droving days. I had it vitreous enamelled by a company in West End, Brisbane, who used to make cast iron bathbubs which were vitreous enamelled. Easy to clean. A really great cooker. Don't know of anyone who still does this, but Jaguar restorers still manage to get their exhaust manifolds recoated so there must still be someone out there.Quote:
