It sounds similar to the Porta Pottis - they're all pretty "bog" standard I think....

We have the Porta Potti and my missus and kids think it is the best thing when camping. As long as you use the chemicals etc, you wouldn't even know what was inside. Emptying it out is always fun too!!

We have got one of these

Different idea to the chemical toilet but it does fold down very flat. I line the interior with newspaper.

    Correct me if Im wrong.....

but if you lift out the center console/seat and remove the inspection plate....

of course flushing would be a case of having to ford it.

The camper we hired from Brits had one. I didn't find emptying it a problem - especially at council dump sites provided especially for these.

Certainly I'd consider having one. I no longer want to squat. I have a stool (oh, no pun intended ) with a toilet seat and to which one can attach plastic bags or one can dig a hole in the ground below. I have yet to take it camping with me.

With a bit of work you could make a toilet seat to fit in place of the front squab, plastic bags, etc. and there you go.

Reckon you might need to run with the flaps open for a few minutes, though.

    Cheers
