We're going to look at the "Sahara Tents Direct" ones this Saturday in Melb. Search eBay and you'll see them. They are mentioned in another thread somewhere on here too.
(I'd post links but on mobile).

The utility of this (Sahara) design is that during the day, the ladder can be removed and the extended cantilevered floor section becomes self-supporting. This makes for a lot more room in the annexe. However this is providing NO ADDITIONAL WEIGHT is placed on the extended part of the floor!!!
One thing I'm wondering is - the rooms / annexes on the side - would be very handy for changing etc HOWEVER what if your truck is a bit higher than usual? Eg a canopy on a lifted130 will be higher than a prado roofrack......
How's that work?
Tanning cream needed
Sahara looks the goods.
This one (more expensive)seems to package an awning with it.

Anyone know if these awnings are separate or part of the tent unit itself?
The text also seems to indicate a tent with annexe is $800 - not sure if this is really $800 on top of the cost of the tent?
Is it possible to have the access ladder erected inside the annexe - perfect for rainy days.....
They obviously copy paste the ad text a lot. The title is key. That seems to be for tent + awning, but not an annex. The annex is not $800 alone though.
If the annex is zipped on, the ladder will always be inside.
If you ring, they will package whatever you want and as the ad says if you give them credit card details over the phone you get a small discount over the ebay ad price.
I see that ad also has "Extension for back skirt (annex) available " for your super high 130.
