Have a look in the Huts Maintenance sectio - Stone's Outstation.

Gotta say a good roast pork with Kumara ( NZ sweet potato ) and gravy and crackle has gotta be my favourite.

Spam ...hmmm i'd have to be convinced on that one .....

Sorry NM, i know you're being well intentioned, but if a man loves a food i bet he'll try to sneak it in no matter what it does to his health

Just ask someone suffering lactose intolerance and crohns who LOVES his milk and dairy

And the amount of times i've been warned of eating salami because it's not cooked.... if it wasn't good for you they wouldn't make it taste sooooooo good

PS not a stab... all a joke... well the 'well intentioned" bit... not the milk and salami bit

    Australian Bush, French Dream
Not much in the actual receipes but at lease one photo showing the Olinda Osso Bucco, Rover's Roast Rump and Strazlecki Spuds (potatoes baked in rosemary and rock salt).

I used to love fried spam on toast, my wife wont have it in the house, but still its worth having a tin in the box on the trail.
I am on track for xmas I have gone beyond my original plan, I have shot 12 cms of the waist the BPs coming down to near normal, the heart has slowed to about 100 the average was 125 there for a few months, just to update the intersted.

    Only way to eat Spam.
    Makes it quite edible.
Maybe it also gets rid of some of the fat.

Whilst fried SPAM is excellent in it's own right

Stir fried LITE SPAM and vege's with white boiled rice is bloody good.

Or the humble SPAM and red sauce sambo

LITE SPAM is the way to go, it'll still give you a hearty, just 1/2hr after the heavy stuff will.
