My Hannibal came with 8 rated eyes that lock in to the tracks. I'd suggest trying anyone who supplies roof rakes. I then use ratchet straps to secure to them.

I use ratchet straps, they will lock down nice and tight. Mates also use cam action straps that seem to do the trick. Don't use occy straps though, they stretch too much and when you hit big bumps too hard or wind gets into your load they will let go.

Hey mate...should have clarified....I have tie down points...its what to use to tie down. Rhino has a range of things but exxy...thought would see what others use.

I got some of the Rhino straps from my local ARB, $20 for 4. I haven't been able to fault them

Ratchet straps for me. From memory mine are rated to 270kg and comply with some form of Australian Standard. $40 for four of them I think.

Yep, ratchet straps are the go! You can get them nice and tight...but becareful strapping down anything with a sharpish edge like a bbq or firewood. That combined with corrugations will easily shred the webbing of a ratchet strap.

Also have a look at Andyz Strapz. Excellent for tying down swags, oztent, smaller jerry cans etc. Very handy for lots of things though...

A piece of old bicycle inner tube slid over the strap and positioned over the end of the offending edge will help a lot.
