Camping the colonial way in Africa, with the roar of Lions and trumpeting and tummy rumbling of Elephants for night sounds.

We have enough problem keeping those vicious possums out of our food at night - how to you stop the pussies having you for dinner at night? I assume there are still quite a few in the park.

Camping in Khutse also in the Kalahari, this was posted on a 4x4 site in SA . They only saw them when the flash went off apparently.

    Ok,

    My fairly basic setup.

Two in the RV2 Oz Tent (plenty of room would take three pretty easily) and 2 kids in the small 3 man (really on 2 man) Wilderness Equipment tunnel tent.

Tarp gives plenty of cover and dry access to kids tent wit enough room for cooking and relaxing under the tarp in wet weather.

This was recently taken at Newnes, very cold in the morning but the kids loved it and managed a great fire.

About 20 mins set up and breaking down (with minimal assistance) as on this trip I had my two kids and one of their mates, my wife opted out.

This was my first time with the Oztent and it is a cracker, so east to pitch and pack away.

    George
