Cob Premier Outdoor Oven

Just read an article about these in the February Australian Shooter magazine and wondered if anyone had used one and if so what did they think of it.

Looks good for that stop where you can't or don't want to have a fire big enough to generate the coals required for a camp oven but still want to roast a bit of meat or bake something.

It also says it works as a BBQ and wok burner

mate of mine has one and he BLOODY loves it

i've seen how easy it is to use and clean.............
only problem for my clan its not big enough

i cooks a roast with 5/6 heat beats

or you can use coals

I gave up my camp ovens years ago because of weight...my Cob does exatly the same job...scones....damper..roast..etc...the best thing invented

So, what do these cob contraptions look like? My problem stems from working far too many hours, and not having enough time to drive down to the big smoke and go window shopping, just to see, and another cyclone hovering about off the coast, doesn,t help either.

As a matter of fact, i do, but its not much use, as i,m 2500 ft above sea level, would be a decent flood to shift me,,

We have the Cobb oven for more than 3 weeks and we love it. The meat come really tender.
It is one of the best camping gear that we have on the Defe

Hi Chucaro.
I am thinking of getting one of these. Did you just go with the basic unit or did you find that you needed some of the accessories as well?

I have the the Premier model and the frying dish, pan & wok in one.
The premier was for the same price than the basic unit when I got it
