Anyone know of any good put easy reciepes for remote touring (constantly on the move)?

has anyone cooked anything under the hood whilst travelling between destinations (i've only heated pies/sausage rolls like this), how'd it turn out, thoughts ideas?

I put a couple of crepes under the bonnet for morning tea once - found them four days later when I lifter the bonnet to check the oil.
    They were really well done!!

First find a fat Vestey's bullock (Or any other brand as long as it not your own). And definitely not ZMO, mine.

I got Andrew Dwyer's book "Outback Cooking" that's chock-full of fantastic recipes and tips. But his idea of cooking "on the move" is to pull off the road, build a fire and cook on it. I think I'd find that a bit cumbersome for a "quick stop" to eat!

    Great recipes though.

Ive roasted chickens on R series macks, spuds on a SIII 2.25, done stews in the engine bays of kingswoods. Ive tried mini Pizzas with "mnyeh you can live on it if you have to results." Pizza pockets work out quite well tho.
