Yes, the Southern Cross I have does not have a noticeable "tub" from the exterior either, but the instructions emphasise that when correctly erected, the edges of the vinyl floor should be raised up off the ground .

Can anyone vouch for the OzTrail Tourer 9 tent, or the similar size model by Dune4wd? Apparently the Dune4wd tents are made by the same people who manufacture OzTrail tents? This is what a salesman at Anaconda in Frankston told me today. They're both going for $399, but the Dune4wd tent comes with a side pole kit.
