Thread: Cheap Fridges - info wanted

    The Memphis 55l is at Repco for $899 - however it is exactly the same as the 55l I bought on ebay from an Australian supplier for $499. Just goes to show the mark up on fridges - even the cheapies.

    it may be an idea to post up the link to the suplyer of your fridge.

    we have had ours for just over a year and has had a couple of healy hard bumps as well as me droping it off the back of the county ( DUH)

    They are constantly advertised on ebay - auction and buy now. Shipping is very reasonable.

    Tas130 - fridge did really well, didnt freeze but kept everything cold (milk etc didnt go off). Thanks again mate.

    I'm sure that Tas130 told you, but the 3 way's are VERY picky when it comes to being level, if they are just a little tilted, they won't work to their full capacity - just a tip

    He didnt tell me (well I dont recall) but I did read that somewhere... hence why im buying a little spirit level to do the job Thanks anyway for the info.
