    help '76 cv's

    Howdy, the cv clatter is getting bad of late. Can you tell me which axles I have? Is it suffix A 23/10 splines? (Im trying to avoid opening it up before the job and cant find my manual). Anyone know where I could find a second hand one?

    Does this translate as a shaking about 80klm or should I be looking at my kingpin shims as well while Im in there?

    have a word with this seller on e-bay, they might be able to supply. I have had CVJs from them before and they are super cheap.

    As for the shaking, I would be looking at the swivel pins / pre-load 1st. I have had 2 cvjs go and its most noticeable on full lock, nasty banging noise

    Hi Im in Geelong. Im pretty sure its the rh cv as the rattle continues on full lock at slow speed, whereas the kingpins wouldnt continue to rattle once loaded right?

    Seeing as though your in Geelong, I could have a bo peep at it for you, and could supply a good second hand CV if that's the prob, I'm working in Waurn Ponds, staying in Ocean Grove at the moment
