giving up the defer,:eek: aahhhhh...
Really ? Legally ? What sort ?
ARB tell me they have never and will never make an airbag compatible bar for the Classic RR.
As far as I know modifying an airbag compat bar from a disco to fit on a RR might work but wouldn;t be legal - different vehicle mass etc means crush cans wouldnt be exactly compatible or some such rubbish.
vlad, you might know the rangie.....it resides just around the corner from me:D:D
If you get an ARB Rangie classic bull bar ,Carefully cut out the existing chassis mountings, and matching them to the Disco 1 ARB compression canisters.your bull bar will technically be air bag compatible. If after you have carried out this operation and than present the bar to an engineer .He will roll his eyes at you and tell that a plate is not necessary.Remember to remove all recovery points on the bar because its now is only good for bashing into things. If by chance you happen to meet a land rover engineer. He'll tell you that the compression canisters have little to do with airbag technology.
OH!Dear . What a waste of a bull bar.
As for airbags. They are classified as exsposives , and the manufacturer deems them inoperative and out of date after ten years. It is illegal to transport out of date explosives around!!!!!!!!!!
Over to you guys.
Who would leave a perfectly good series 11 on the on the road with no wheels on stilts. Guess nobody can take it.
