Reminds me of when I wanted to know the weight of the brush bar assembly for my P38 to calculate shipping costs.

I posted the question on Rangerovers.net and a guy in Iowa, USA had one in his garaged (unmounted), took it in and weighed it on his bathroom scales and replied, all within about half an hour.

    Gotta love it.

Not all LSE's were soft dash (SRS airbags). If it's not the soft dash model then a bull bar should be no problem.

    1. Yes augmenting is a word. Look it up.
    2. Why are you getting rid of the Deefer?
    3. There must be some bits that could "fall off" your Defender onto mine, then.

Dave are you SURE ? I've never seen a non-soft dash LSE.
Maybe there were old style ones in the UK ? What about here though ?
I know LSE specs in UK and Australia were different (UK had bigger engine for example).
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

Surely you would get a few emails with "augment" in the title...?

I paid for an augmentation once (not for me ) and that cost about the same as my soft dash !!

weeds- ive got an almost new full LPG set up for a 94 rangie including RPI ignition, magnecors etc if your thinking of going that way. its got a brand new correct size converter as well, engine slipped a liner on the way back from getting it fitted so its in the shed waiting for a TDI conversion.

there are some well priced LSE's for sale at the moment.

    Vled - Qote - Dave are you SURE ? I've never seen a non-soft dash LSE.-Unquote.

Yes Vled, there are non soft dash LSEs in Australia [they were the first ones here and have the traditional square Rangie dash]. I have a mate who has one of those - 1993 model - a great car and still like new.

Excuse my ignorance, couldn't you use/modify a bullbar from an SRS airbag Disco to fit the LSE????

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
