Thanks peewee, I hadn't considered that. I didn't know 110 shockers were heavier duty or would fit.

I am currently recommending the gear from suspension stuff.com.

There is better gear out there, there is cheaper gear out there. but ATM their stuff is filling my best bang for buck slot.

Fair point. They've been really stuffed for some time now. It has been sitting around hardly used for the last eight years so they might not have lasted as long as you think.
I'm leaning towards the 110 shockers if they fit a 1981 RRC chassis.

    regards

I rate koni's. I think my rear ones have done around 200,000km. Fronts are less than a year old because I got a great deal on some longer ones.
Adjustable rebound lets you run them as you want them.

I was having a chat to a fellow I have bought LR parts from in the past.
I asked him his opinion for fitting to a 110. (Yes, it still is a RRC chassis but I'm taking peewee's advice).
The LR parts fellow recommended Boge ($78 ea) ummed at Armstrong ($55 ea) and only quoted LR when pushed ($120 ea)

justinc and this guy recommends Boge, so I think I'll give them a try.

    Thanks for your input guys.
    regards
    Mick
