    G'day HPR50

With that chromed front bar, that vehicle looks like an Australian sales version of the CSK (Charles Spencer King)model of which I think that 50 were produced, the UK one was a special 2 door model (200 built) and I am aware that Aust produced a 4 door clone, using the similar stuff as the UK vehicle, there is 1 genuine UK 2door CSK in Aust, car 11,up on the Gold Coast, was also at the 60th in Cooma,I would have to have a dig around to find more info on the Aust CSK's, it should have a numbered plate on the facia somewhere if it is, and CSK decal on the front scuttle and possibly on the right reat lower tailgate, that would also possibly be the reason that so much money was spent on it's upkeep, as it was a limited edition model. does it have the 3.9ltr or the optional 4.2ltr

    cheers

It is one of the run out editions (ie Land Rover thought uh oh the P38a is coming and look at all these body shells lol) so it has the different alloys, piped leather and the classic badge on the tailgate.

    G'day HPR50

Aah! so that is the story thought it was a special, as it also has the TWR alloy wheels,my guess is it's in Brooklands Green too,or Ardennes Green which was a micratalic, noted as MCA, with brogue leather, all in all a very desireable vehicle, does it have the 3.9 ltr or the optional 4.2 ltr motor?

    cheers

Yeah just the good old toothless tiger!(3.9) though it is the late type with serpentine belt. My last Range Rover a 1991 Vogue with a Vitesse 4.6 went a whole lot harder (wish i had never sold it) but this one is far smoother and free revving.

That is one great looking, immaculate Rangie and it seems it is something special and collectable as well. You're a lucky fellow HPR50.
