Mike, I spent hours and hours trying to get a spare remote to work, I have several types of learning remotes ( no good to you) and went through the sequence of registering them to the car ( on Rave ) Also had an original from another car, no go there either. I gave up. The idea of fitting a kit to the drivers door sound a good one to me.

Glad to hear you found it, I attach a label to all my car keys with my mobile number just in case.
