I noticed, $7K seems to be the mark for a soft-dash at present. They're not getting mine.
The green LSE didn't reach reserve last week. I'm tempted- any thoughts on a LSE as an off-road unit? Need something without airbags to accept all the accessories sitting in my shed.

If anyone spots a cheap one let me know... I have some 40" Treps that I want to fit under a classic, and the LSE wheelbase is a perfect fit

Well I pick up my D4 tomorrow. At present I think I'll just park mine in the shed. Trouble is why would you want to go back to an lse after a D4.
I love the seats in the classic .The positioning , and the way you look over the bonnet. I love the simplicity of the car.The fact that if it stops on the side of the road I can fix it. I love the affectionate way it leaves its mark on the garage floor just after I've spent the whole weekend working on it. The wonderful way it generates a little rumble at 100kls,from time to time, just to let you know you've still got a way to go.And above all the expression on my Darlings face rolling of eyes, and mutterings of money pit.
Now I've got all that of my chest,I think I hate it. perhaps I'll banish it to the shed forever.
But then again in a years time I'll miss it and it will all start over again.

I think its time you give the poor thing a good home.

It will feel intimadated by the D4 anyhow.

We will pay a fair price for it no Doubt.

Well that's where it all goes wrong. The cars worth to most $6 to 8000.00.
But the tdi 300 engine , the fuel tanks, the diff locks the bull bars, etc are worth that on there own.Its condition is great still the same as when the trophy at Cooma. But anybody with a sensible suggestion, I would listen.
I,ve had the D4 for half a day, and I'm SOLD!!!!!!!!!!.
