She's runing rich
Hi All,
Have just brought a 83 rrc carbie it was serviced on friday it runs good but on saturday I found that theres quite alot of smoke coming out of the exhaust I rang the machanics and asked them what could be the problem they told me that they had to make it run rich as it runs on lpg and petrol is this correct??
When im sitting at the lights I can see it blow past 
Any help would be Great

Loada rubbish! Find another mechanic, quick. There's no good reason to run rich if you fit the correct spark plugs for LPG and adjust the timing for a bit more advance ( to 8 - 10 degrees BTDC). I suggest to get some Bosch WR7DC+ spark plugs, or NGK BPR6Es if you prefer, and fit them after the replacement mechanic of choice readjusts the gas.
