    If your not planning on towing anything, remove it and leave it out. You will never notice any difference.

    if the guy is still doing it, any specialist such as Graeme Cooper has access to reco units.
    They used to be $300 about 15 years ago.

    I believe WW shocks can reco them - but there may be a similar place closer to you.
