The shield was a piece of aluminium bent into a right angle. One side of the angle shielded the mount and the other side went between the upper surface of the mount and the engine bracket. I cut a slot in that side of the angle so I could slide it over the stud and between the mount and the bracket. It was held in place after the engine mount nut was tightened up.

I have been told to use Jaguar XJ6 (?) mounts rather than RRC as they are apparently better.
You can use V12 jag mounts in the engine bay as well. They are larger in diameter. The XJ6 mounts can be used on the g/box but it is a tight squeeze as they are about 4mm thicker they are also about 1/2 the price of original mounts.
