Nice unit. A bit of Eyculyptus oil and elbow grease will get rid of the residue from the double sided tape. Are the side steps on that some home made units - and how are they attached. I want to make some up for mine, and am wondering where the best attachement point is. If you get a chance to take a couple of picks underneath at some stage that would be great. I was just thinking of bolting them up to the sill.

    Cheers - Gav

Hey Paul, theres a nifty gadget called a caramel wheel mate.

its basically a shaft with a big round rubber on it and you attach it to your drill and just buff the remnants off the car.

it wont damage paint and was originally ment to remove vinyl pinstripes (which it does) but Ive been using it for years on auto tape and that rubber double sided stuff.

Shouldnt be more than $20 at any paint and panel suppliers.

    Cheers,
    Tony

I'll be getting one of those myself I think. Sounds heaps easier than my suggestion.

    Gav,
The side steps are a "JRA approved accesory" according to the sticker underneath and I will get some pics for you.

    Tony,
thanks, that sounds like the go and with a lot less elbow grease.

    Feni,
    what can I say ?
