    Viscous fan...

    Hi all,

I have a siezed viscous fan on my 89 Classic and was wondering what my options are?

Do I go for a second hand one? Or do I go for the one on eBay for $150?

    Cheers

Ford xf or xa is the same left hand thread.
The blades are to big and u have to trim but thats it all the same.
u can get from wreckers or buy new.
do a search on aulro and you find what you are looking for.
Dont keep driving it at high speed or u will find some of the blades inserted into the bonet and radiator.

Yeah, already figured that one out.......through the cowling and put a little dent in the bonnet......

I got a Rangey fan tonight, but realised after I got it that the viscous part was rooted as well.
