    front indicator repeaters

The small indicator repeaters in the front gaurds of my 84 have nearly faded to clear. I assume they will need to be orange for a (QLD) RWC.

Has anyone udated these to the orange bulb lamps which have thier own unique locating pin configuration or do I replace/paint the lenses ?

Orange nail polish inside the lens will sort you out.

    Or paint the globe orange.

One can buy bulb dye. I have it in both green and orange. It's like nail polish.

    Do they?

I've seen ones which are direct replacements.

The cars that have orange globes from the factory often have a different locating pin set up so white globes can't be fitted (in theory).

If you find a bulb which is physically similar you just file off one of the offset pins. Usually they still hold in on one pin. I have done this plenty of times for faded front indicators but there are some shops which sell direct fit bulbs for boy-racer clear lamp assemblies.

Narva also sell a full range of silicone globe sleeves for regular bulbs, e.g. part no. 49960BL for 5 amber sleeves in 8.5mm nominal size.

You should be able to get either new or S/hand repeater lenses from BOR(they will post to you) and also the little gaskets to keep the water out
