    ABS Accumulator Range Rover CLassic

    Hi Guys,

I need to replace my abs accumulator I think in my classic 93. Pump kicks in after every brake press. Also takes 60 seconds to charge the system. It comes on again after a few minutes for about 5 seconds or so. It's a bit noisy but I'm not sure how noisy they should be.

Do I need to bleed system before/after reinstall?
How do I remove the damn thing, there's not much room compared to the p38?

    Does $188au sound good + $39 shipping

I have the ABS and ETC light on constant, no brake light, but I know that the front sensor plug is flapping around and wire has broken off and connector plug is all bent.

    cheers

Steve, I just priced one from a place down here, he said they are different to the P38's and they wanted $825+GST!!!!!!!!!!!!
He suggested they aren't made any more, and he's on his last one.
As for the ABS and ETC lights, the broken sensor wire will do that.
I'd just re-solder/re-attach them, and if you are lucky the fault will disappear.

Heres on in the UK for a classic. From my recollection you have to undo a couple of bolts from underneath the wheel arch. You will need to bleed the system following the protracted procedure and 2 litres of fluid
