youre thoughts on these mods/alterations ??

(86 rrc with 1" longer springs and shocks on 30"tires)

ive been having some radiator issues and by chance(not lol) have aquired these parts as part of another rover i brought. two sill tanks, body lift blocks and brackets and an alloy race radiator with thermo fans ( out of a 2 door witch ran a stroked 350 chev into a 4 speed manual gearbox) ..
Now as the sill tanks and radiator were out of a 2" body lifted car i'll either have to alter all the brackets on the tanks and the radiator supports or cut the 2 inch lift blocks into an inch and pop them in and all should bolt in.
the tanks would with moved brackets or 1' lift sit slightly higher than the auto trany cross member ,but re radiator i kinda dont want the mounts buggered up
ill post up photos of the bits in an hour or two's time
    regards mark

why not just fit the 2" body lift to your car.

    cause lol

    hey guyg
main reason is... daily driver/tourer, so its better lower ..
...wont have to raise front and rear bars
... the gap between tires and arch would look stupid and the
    tires are newish
... i can lengthen brake lines without replacing them all
... can most likley leave cdl leaver unalterd
... might not have to alter steering
thats my reasoning at the moment
i might be wrong,,often am lol
    regards mark

the plumbing on the tanks as was in the chev rangie is as follows
p lines from tanks to tap (pic 5), line out to filter then carter fuel pump back to a t peice in filler neck...
breathers run with fuel lines to a t peice and back to filler neck at around the same place as the fuel line from sills entrers the return line from original tank.....
the return lines are pluged with a screw so i have no idea as to what to do with them...
    any sugestions?
    cheers mark
