    Dogey fuel tank

Hi all. Got a fuel tank that is fine on the out side. But a whole different story inside. To say it is rusty is a understatement. Now is it a case of getting another tank or is there a away of de-rusting the tank? There seems to be not one surface inside the tank with out rust all over it.

Just replace it. If you have a classic they are really easy to replace...did mine about 6 months ago. Im just up the road if you need a hand...

Yep Angus already going down the replacing route. Hopefully will get one tomorrow. They are easy to get out. Had one minor hassle with the centre rear bolt. As mine is a hybrid with a land rover ute on a rover chassis, there was no access to that bolt. My 125 mm grinder solved the problem soon enough.

Good to see you got it sorted. What does your ute look like? Mine a big blue rangie with a whopping warn stick on the bonnet.
