Hate to tell you but I was bored.

Possibly one of the reasons I had 79 cars in my time.

My current one has been with me for almost 2 years which is a record for me.
Absolute record and I am not looking at selling either.

So at the end of the day, I am pretty much in same position as you.

I'm not Bored with this vehicle , the reason for selling was purely financial. It will at some stage be moved on even thou, I have decided to keep this vehicle for now ,but will allow someone else to enjoy it and drive it I have put a lot of work into it to make it reliable , as said I can't justify having 2 x vehicles as they are parked on driveway majority of the times while I use the public transport to commute to work.

May the Rangie live on with pride

And yes, you have been bitten by the bug
OI! It hasn't demised, its going to be repowered with D1 running gear and a Tdi and sold, after I get the 110 going. No way will it get trashed

The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈

G'day JC, I've been thinking about building a RRC with the the discovery running gear , R380 , LT230 , 300tdi , dual battery system and putting in all my maxi Drive gear out of the disco inluding the update dash into the range rover and selling off the rest of it as a wreck.

    what da ya reckon?

Yep a great idea. A rangie with a tdi 300 is in my opinion the best of all worlds. The trouble is along will come an opportunity for a D3/RR Sport or something, and the whole thing is obsolete. My demise is a D4 that just put the Rangie in a shed.
Its now the cheapest car to run I've ever owned. And from time to time I'll go and sit in it. I love the car. But a D4 to a Range is like a Rangie is to a Series 3. I guess what I'm saying is it's just not worth it.
