    Soaked seats :(

Anyone know a good way to dry out seats? I left my sunroof open in tilt, and then we had a mini-monsoon come through which apart from flooding the house it left my Rangie with at least 50mm of water pooled up on the seats

With your weather forecast for this week the only thing you can do is put a fan heater on low on the rear floor overnight. Hopefully you can park it out of the rain with the windows down an inch.

    They would be electric seats?

Either way ... Just get a Torx drive set and unbolt the seats
Turn them upside down and dry them outside the car (garage / verandah / lounge room

You have a whole heap of relays and a ECU that need to be looked at UNDER those seats ... You don't want them to remain wet

Bad luck Dave. If any of the electrics have beend drowned, let me know and I'll pop over an have a look.

Any chance you can get the Rangie under the car port while you dry things out?

    Cheers - Gav.

Well, this is weird... I went out earlier after borrowing a wet vac and the seats were dry ?? The only sign of water was all the beads on the inside of the sunroof.

I took her out before to see if I would get a wet butt and I didn't so they must have dried out pretty well... I just can't fathom out why they're now dry.

    Cheers,

    Dave

I looked at the box the seat covers came in, but they certainly don't claim to be magic lol

When I opened my drivers door last night, there was water everywhere (luckily for me I have a witness!) so I am pretty much baffled. Happy, but baffled.

Took the missus out before in it, and she has now downgraded the Rangie from "lemon" to "tank" I think that's good!

    Cheers

Its awkward to point out the electric seat controls....when they're almost out of sight.
