RHF Door Latch 90 RRC
Hi all, I'm about to embark on replacing my front driver's door latch and somewhat thrown by the total stripdown of most of the door hardware, glass and frame required, according to the manual. Wondering if anyone has done one recently and has any tips or shortcuts. The original symptoms were inside door handle not releasing latch, despite shortening of connecting rod and very stiff to mvoe rod to lock latch using the outside key. I bought a Bearmach replacement latch. Any tips appreciated.

Not really any shortcuts - best to hoe in and remove regulator and frame. Easier and quicker than fiddling around.
The Bearmach lock assembly doesn't come with the rubber gasket that wraps around the old lock. I ripped the old one trying to get it off but it's really essential not to..the new lock won't fit properly without it and it makes the door /lock alignment wrong.
Fiddly nasty frustrating job - good luck!
