Righto transfer was rebuilt again and stuffed up before they could give it back. Turns out the bearings were coming apart(laminating was the word used) soon after use. They say it's a bad batch of bearings from Timken. It now has NTN bearings and so far it's nice and quiet.

Ok I spoke too soon. Now it's behaving like the centre diff is locked. Took it back..they said it was lever adjustment. So they adjusted it and, guess what?....it's doing it again!?
He reckons it's still lever adjustment so it's going back in wednesday. This is the last straw, if after wednesday it's not fixed I'll get him to change back to the BW box.

btw anyone know how a BW 1350 compares to the 1361 strength wise and bolt pattern face to the trans?
