    holley carbs

Ive got a range rover 4.6 with holley 350 carb. Can anybody tell me what colour pump cam their using and pump nozzles. Im using blue pump cam and no31 nozzles. My problem is that the engine at mid throttle kind of stumbles and shudders. what about power valve who is using what?
Also how do you "cure/inprove'' starvation and flooding issues?
Any good holley carb mechanics melbourne?

Dont know about the rest of your questions, but the starvation/flooding problems are cured by a baffle of some sort in the float chamber. Any good carby specialist should be able to help and also tune your carby for you. Bob

the reason why i changed to holley was because i i had working order sus then suddenlly they started blowing smoke-overnight? i checked everything: fuel levels etc. could of the jet of dislocated itself from its position from the adjuster scre/nut? i think i would of noticed this when i looked inside froom the top.
so i got ****ed off and shuved a holley. might need a good carby shop. anybody could recommend someone?

Mid range stumbles , sort of ???
At what RPM at what load ? Whats your total useable rev range ?
Whats the compression ?, what cam ? what type and style of inlet manifold ?
Tell me your not using an old cutdown twin carb manifold !!!!!!
As a wild guess , for all its worth I ran a 350 briefly on a 4.4 . 28 sqirters ,70 mains , 8.5 Power valve , center hung float , fuel bowl breather extenders .The blue cam arm is allright just make sure the plunger is adjusted to a pre-load condition .Dont forget to set the throttle butterflys up properly to show .020 off the slots .
How many people out there have a 350 holley on a 4.6 block ? not bloody many !!!
Make sure you have a vac guage fitted and working , it will save alot of heartache while you trying to tune it . There are just so many variables suggesting any jetting/powervalve/squirters/accel pump wii lbe a Waste of time, so just suck it and see .

What on Earth does this mean?
    Regards Philip A
Sorry I just realised "sus" was SU's. Seems an extreme measure to change to a Holley.
