    Question What font decals?

Can anyone tell me the font and point size for the "RANGE ROVER" bonnet and rear decals on a 1988 Classic. On the rear, the "V" in vogue looks the same as the main name but the "ogue" is smaller and the "SE" is a hollow type font. I thought I might find out what the local sign writers will charge me to cut some plastic ones. TIA

    Talking decal art work

I have these on disk. If you want I can Copy it for you and you can take it to a sign writer and they can print some for you. I just need to find it !!

I took my old ones of carefully and the sign writer scanned them and redid the bits that had disintegrated through age.
there was however a cost to do this.
    cheers Timothy

Eurostile i believe is the closest font for RANGE ROVER... but you do need to manipulate it slightly by increasing the spacing and potentially make it shorter in height just slightly. if you are sending this off to the local signwrighter they will have no problems doing this... less than 45 seconds after they have typed the words.

i have tried to attach this ttf font for you... copy and paste into your C:\Windows\Fonts folder and then open up Word or something and you'll now have these fonts (one is bold one is normal).

If you are chasing beveled plastic/aluminium decals i'm sure you know Ebay has them.

i haven't seen the SE or Vogue for the Classic of late... but have seen them before...

    good luck hunting...

    Decal Scans

Good idea Beastie for scanning these precious letters. I am a graphic designer here in Paris and I'm looking for the graphic file to have them cut-out by a local printer for my car. Would it be possible for you to send the scans ? I could redraw them using a vector software such as Illustrator and then have them totally perfect for cut-out.

    Thanks
