The now not so good coil conversion

Well where do i start you might rember i changed to coils from EAS just completed 2000 k trip to the goldfields and back and only realy tested it on freeway and the like, i put a set of 50 mm raised king springs on and i seem to have a bit of a chatter in the suspension if you no what i mean where it skips across the road and is hard to control on the not so good roads it does have 32inch tyres and off set rims to suit flares.
I was wondering if a caster camber kit is needed new, steering damper and yet another wheel alinement.
Just a tad scary when your speed get away from you particularly when over taking you need two lanes.
    any feedback will much appreciated

I hope you changed the shocks over too? The dampening requirements are vastly different between the EAS and Springs.

Two inch lifts do not normally require "slotted balls" which I think you are forced into to correct the diff angle of the third member with higher lifts. The other benefit of slotting is that the steering geometry is returned to normal providing a stable front end.

Do a search on slotted balls.

How worn are all you bushes and tierod ends?

Two inch lift will give you zero or slightly negative caster. Slot those balls!

Every 1/2" you lift you lose 1 degree from the 3 you have @ stock height. (thanks HSV Rangie)

My feedback is that the Range Rover Gods gave you EAS and you have offended them by raping your car and removing it.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

and i seem to have a bit of a chatter in the suspension if you no what i mean where it skips across the road and is hard to control on the not so good roads it does have 32inch tyres and off set rims to suit flares.
Well, as a driver of a 92 RRC with coils who has driven maybe 20kk over varying dirt in the last 3 years I can say I have NEVER experienced this , except maybe at the inner radius of an uphill heavily eroded corner.

IMHO you probably have 2 problems
1 The King springs are probably too stiff, although you are limited without a Hydromat on the rear. The fronts should be no more than 160Lb per inch , which is about 25% stiffer than standard. The rears should be maybe 220Lbs per inch.
Many aftermarket springs are much stiffer and AFAIK King do not publish their spring rates. I do not buy springs for which I do not know the rates. LRA publish their rates. I buy LRA springs.

2 If you fit shocks with too much jounce and rebound damping, the wheels will not be able to conform to corrugations. When I bought my Billies , Graeme Cooper warned me that the "sport" setting may be too stiff and cause skipping. I paid a heap to have 2 shocks revalved as there were no more "comfort" sold in OZ, and I got the last 2.

I have never regretted this choice. My car is raised 2inches back with LRA "Orange" and 1.5 inches front with LRA "Green". I have air bags in the back. Currently I run 245.70x16 but have run 245.75x16=31+-.

not sure about your spring rate suggestions, how do you know what he has on the vehicle?
i run 220pd front (purple), and 270pd rear (green/white), works great, pretty sure JC runs the same

... But they can be capricious too... for verily I sacrificed much munni and sweat and tears in replacing all my suspension with new, caused the pump to be healed and even last night I did grovel upon the earth to replace pump mounts and internal O rings; - yet they have not smiled upon my bound-up VC and made it free....

It is my desire to invoke a differant Deity in this last matter....

    - I'd also put my money on longer/stiffer springs being the main offenders, along with the wrong shocks.

And maybe he needs to repent from the Dark Side and find comfort in 7.50 x 16's......

And yeah - verily I worshipped at the alter of Old Man EMU, Bill Stein and the like..and hopped all over the place...then some bloke by the name of Charles Spencer King referred me back to the Old Testament: thou shalt have long travel low rate coils and quality oil filled dampers and a working Boge nivomat for when the horse trailers attached..then thou shalt not spill ones latte on the corrugations.....(sorry, too many cab savs..but its true)
