wont start straight away
hi folks , i have the 85 rrc which has had a transplant of a 3.9 from a, i think a disko pre 1998 . the problem i having just started is when i dont use it for a few days it wont start up straight away, it turns over fine and when it starts it burst into life as if there was no spark it dosent grumble into life like there was no petrol , after it has started it will fire up first go for the rest of the day also if i use it the next day no problem starting it first thing . the first time it happen i shifted the auto gear leaver from park to neutral and back to park and it fired up but now it dosent seem to matter what i do with the gear shift

Have you tried priming the fuel system in case it's dropping line pressure?
Turn the ignition on for 5 sec, off then on again. Repeat a couple more times for good measure & then try starting. If it fires up right away, then it's the non-return valve leaking back.

ive got the same problem with my p76, but problem only began when the holley projection controller was swapped for a wolf v4x computer.. and so im thinking mine is a cold start programming issue, possibly the same as yours
