    DIY tinting

Has anyone tried this on a RR classic.

I've fairly confident I've got it sus'd but wondering what people have done about the felt runners (vertical tracks) on the winding windows and whether the glass/runners can be removed easily

the rest is a piece of p!$$, flat glass is so much better to work on

what do you mean you seal retractors?

bottom seal is easy its very flexible rubber... the side tracks are not compressible...and wont retract as there tight in the door frame
I was thinking some plastic or the like to but in between the glass and the runner to form a barrier to stop bits of felt getting under the tint

btw its a 1/4 glassed version RR

Seal retractors are only a bit of right angled plastic ,same as you use for the bottom seal . There a couple of good vids on youtube that show how to do it .

Has anyone taken the glass out to tint. i was think it would give a much nice job but may not be worth the hassle of glass removal...
