    Talking Finally got my 1982 4 door Range Rover

    Yahoo I picked up my new 1982 Range Rover Sunday.
    Two owners ??? Low Kays 100,000 cream colour drives soooooooo goood.
    Very happy to be back into a Land Rover, missed my 1974 2 door and missed my 1992 two door Disco.
    This one is here in the Garage too stay.
    Need to book it into JC The Man and have some work sone too it to make me happy.
    So far the list is Belts, Hoses, Rocker gaskets, oils and a general look over.

    Cheers

    Congratulations! They are a lovely vehicle and I think so well-designed that they're still perfectly usuable in this day and age.

    And no @%&&*$%&#@*!!! computers.
    At any given point in time, somewhere in the world someone is working on a Land-Rover.

    I had 3 of the original 2 doors.

    They were such a joy, only pain were the big doors and twin carby sticking.

    Enjoy the ride.

    You're a lucky man T13. 2 door Rangie in good nick - a timeless motor car. Every time I see one I get that 'I want one" feeling.

    Just out of curiosity, what is the advice you sought to fix the leaking fuel cap? I have replaced the cap, and its housing along with the "O" ring that the housing for the cap seats in. I have significantly reduced the leaking but not stopped it.
