There is a standard silver colour usually called "wheel silver", so long as you do your bumpers and rostyle rims in the same brand/code no one will know.
Hi Guys,
I'm restoring a 73 RRC, I want to do the bumpers in the original aluminium coloured paint, but hav'nt found a paint code anywhere (body paint codes are everywhere).
Doeas anyone out there know paint code for the bumpers or where I could look for colour codes for the vehicle trimmings.
Cheers,
Phil

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

I was just going through some old files and found a list of Dulon/Duco codes for Leyland vehicles.
In 1971/72 there is a "trim colour" Aluminium Metallic - Dulon 15229.

Much appreciated, I will get onto my paint shop.
Just out of curiosity where abouts did you find this code? Do you also have the code for the "camel" coloured seat parts i.e. seat frames etc?
Thanks,
Phil
The codes came from the "Oz Cooper" (Australian Mini Cooper) site Paint Codes and in 1972 onwards the Mini Cooper was in the British Leyland stables along with Rover. Can't see the camel colour, but if you give A&J Corban Smash in Forest Rd Hurstville NSW a call they may have the code. Arthur Corban was a member of the Range Rover Club in the days of the RR classic and they did most of the work for the RR dealers Arthur Garthon (now Purnell) and Asquith & Johnson (now Trivett Paramatta)
