I have 3 on my 92..... They are on the rearmost part of the headlining, where it drops down to the rear upper tailgate. Covered by three plastic fillers....

Don't know if this applies to an 85....?

There wont be any in an 85 model. I'm not sure when they started putting them in maybe the early 90's. Ritters in Melbourne have a bracket available which can be bolted into older vehicles giving you up to 3 child restraints. I had one installed in my 87 Rangie a few years ago. Hopefully they still do them.

I had to get mine changed on my '90 from the UK isofix mounts to Australian Standard when I imported it in 1996 to meet ADR.
All very bizarre as the "new" installation was somewhat inferior - brackets piggybacked on the existing lower seat belt mounts, and two brackets installed in the loadspace for two top straps that ran over the seat backs.
Rather scarily I then discovered that those had simply been bolted through the aluminium floor using small spreader plates rather than through the chassis crossmember as it was originally!!! - very dodgy and very quickly changed!
