Are you changing the cam as well?
Good morning again!
Tomorrow I'm changing all the lifters in my 4.6 RRC. I am changing them all cos I really do not want to change 2 and then put it all back together and realise I missing one.
Has anyone got any handy hints????
(knowledge is power... well stops me crying in the corner)

Any cam? Just the standard one? I think is has a standard ((non programable) I think)
Any handy hints.
I'm all for putting a bigger cam (more power) in but not sure the point with a normal ECU. OR can anyone recommend a "chip" and cam combo.
Cheers NAT
I forgot to mention that the bottom end is a 4.6 out of a 1997, and the top end is a 3.9. I've been told this has more comp. Can anyone let me know!

Put a standard cam back in. Make sure you follow the correct procedure for running a flat tappet cam in or you will destroy it in a very short time.
also check the alloy rockers, ive seen them flogged out.
the pushrods hammers into them, usually from clogged oil galleries
