running oil catch can- thoughts?
MOrnin all,
I'm sure this has been discussed but we are thinking of runing an oil catch can and block off the feed holes to the inlet manifold and run them to a catch can, I understand the legal bits/ maybe an oil smell.
My main question does these v8 need it on? I am running a 4.6 (hotwire), my bro a standard 3.5.
Cheers NAT P

Mann Hummel Provent.
All you need to do to make it essentially maintenance free is plumb in an oil return to the sump.
Search for Provent on the forum, I've put up tech specs and info in the Files section.
As for blocking things off, no. There is a tee piece on the PCV line that links direct to the plenum which upsets idle stability if you remove it.
