turn the hazards on, if they work its the swtich, if they display the same symptoms its the flasher can.
or
move to queensland, no-one uses indicators up here anyway.
Good mornin all,
Over the last 5 days I have noticed that my indicators were turning off if I sat at the lights for a while and this got worse over the last 3 days until now, they dont work any more at all!!!
I'm assuming its the flasher can? any thoughts. I have not checked a thing! I thought I'd ask first!
Cheers NAT

bugger.... didnt fix it.
I'll keep ya all posted,
Fuses? Flasher relay? Blown globes or bad contacts?
G'day
My indicators are buggered as well after I thought I'd tinker with the one of the rear bumper blinker lights which had taken on water and was causing the right side blinkers to pulse fast.
After attempting to fix a slight melt problem in the bulb fitting I now have no blinkers whatsoever. What a champion effort.
I've been over the fuses and they all look fine.
Can someone tell me where I'd find the switch mentioned here?
It's a 98 tdi disco.
Thanks in advance..hoping to get away for the weekend and avoid using the hazards to turn left or right! I'm sure the boys in blue will have a special school holidays levy for the wrongful use of hazards.
