What makes a huge difference in my RR without any arguments!
Defender 110 callipers front and back
Discovery pedal box 95mode,l brake booster and master cylinder.
S/S flexible brake hoses.
No, they'll make the pedal harder, (less swell).
I'd be looking at the booster or a faulty (leaking) vacuum line.
The less vacuum, (from spec) the harder the pedal.
Pad type/compound can make a small difference to feel too. (or a large one in the case of race pads)
No, single lines
"a More Progressive Pedal" That is exactly what I want, thanks for finding the right words for me. It stops well enough without having to be a gorilla on the pedal but it does seem quite harsh compared to most every other car I have driven.
It's got the electrically pressurised brakes so no vacuum problems to look for.
I know it is due for a set of pads soon so perhaps I should try a softer compound?
