After talking to people, and reading I am convinced that theres something wrong with my RRC. She's a 86 with a 4.6 and hotwire top end (14cux) ECU.
I'm getting 200-250 kms per tank.
The question is does any body suggest a good place to go????
I've rang AMV, they do not seem too sure about these cars, and ritter is bloody dear (are they worth it).
Cheers NAT

IMHO you will have a bit of a problem in that I don't think that there is much known about how to run a 4.6 best with 14CUX, and of course there are several ways some cheaper than others. She's a 86 with a 4.6 and hotwire top end (14cux) ECU.

IMHO some will tell you to chuck away the 14CUX and fit a MOTEC, Haltech, etc etc and few will steer you towards the cheapest solution.
Now I have done a bit with 14CUX but I have NOT run a 4.6 with one but if ( and when) I were doing it I would first buy a Tornado chip from Rpi as it is designed to free up the 14CUX to run 4.6
You may have something simple wrong such as a dud temperature sensor or MAF and I would do a system check , if you have anyy electronic skills at all. it is very simple but tedious and is in the manual. Or it may be several things including a dud vacuum advance.
If there was anyone who had skills in this area it would probably be Ritter as they used to do large capacity conversions. Les Richmond may also be a starter.
But if you have any skills do as much yourself as possible before handing the wallet over.
