Is this right?
Bought a 2-door RRC that's been fitted with a 3.9. Took a look under it and noticed what appears to be a cut and modified crossmember, as in the picture below, just below the exhaust downpipe. Same on the other side. Is it ok as it is or should I beef it up a bit?

Thanks!

Now that is interesting. Cutting the crossmember just to fit the exhaust.
In 3.9s the exhaust runs under the crossmember which is tubular and bends in a U shape under the transmission.
That one doesn't look to be doing much, so maybe try and source a later one. I don't know but I bet the mounting holes in the chassis are the same.

Thanks for the reply Philip - seems like an unnecessary modification. Will try to fix it somehow.
